1st Female Speaker of the House?? Hopefully NOT!
What will the U.S. be like, if in about 70 days or so, we refer to Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) as Ms. Speaker of the House. That's right, just third in line to the seat of the Presidency. If you've listened to Sean Hannity in the past few months you have heard him mention this quite often.Pelosi has been embraced by Liberal Democrats and in a 1996 interview she said, "I pride myself in being called a liberal" and "I don't consider myself a moderate." However, some Democrats have distanced themselves from her and think Pelosi's leftward tilt, combined with her attacks on Bush, undercuts her ability to be a strong party leader.
What do you think Pelosi's chances of actually winning in November are? And if you think she will win, how do you think she will wreck havoc on President Bush's final two years?

If you don't call that sexist, it is out of bounds.
For you to call me sexist, I would have technically needed to have something along the lines of, "Pelosi doesn't need to win because she is a WOMAN" or "She cannot do a MAN's job". Those are sexist comments...what I said was not.
To break it down further for your simple mind to understand...

I don't think it is a sexist comment but I think the U.S. could benefit from having a strong Democrat individual as the Speaker of the House...Plain and Simple. She knows who she is.
I am a Democrat but I think it is sad when others like the anonymous poster try to blame things on sexism or even racism. Get over it.

First you all complain about how giving woman "equal" rights causes them to be murders.
Second, you all rant and prive about how liberals are iggnorant, uneducated, so on and so forth.
Third, you all want to be right, especially when you accus liberals of answering your question with a question. What type of tatic is that? You ask others to answer your questions, but you do not want to answer theirs when they attack your question.
Finally, you all are uneducated and iggnorant (this group anyway). I know many conservatives who do not act like you people. So "Read My Lips": (yeah, nothing but silence, because I have nothing more to say.)
I can't call Conservatives, Republicans either...Until they are reminded of the ideology of the real Republican Party.
Isn't a conservative always ready to call liberals things...or theaten liberals because conservatives are afraid of what liberals might be asking back. Your so confused about questions that you accuse others of answering your dumb questions with a real question. Poor cranky conservative... isn't going get it her way because she is acting like a second grade child.
