Mikey likes it...He really likes it!!!!!...

Question: When will the Liberal Left realize that embryonic stem cell research has never been successful? When will they realize we cannot simply throw money into this continual failure of a program, I mean so what they had Michael J. Fox speaking on behalf of five Democrats but anyone who has been around those suffering from Parkinson’s Disease realize that Fox was able to do something that my niece has never been able to do. What is that you ask? Maintain her focal point of the eyes while the rest of her body trembles. Obviously Michael J. Fox was doing what he does best, acting.

I have a problem with a CANADIAN telling us how we should run our country.

Sure, MJF is a likeable guy, decent actor and I would like to see him cured of his terrible disease -- just like everyone else who has a horrible ailment.

BUT... Is this a function of government to have taxpayers fund this type of research?

On another note, too bad this likeable guy was roped into doing this deceiving advertisement.

1. MJF became a US citizen in 2000.
2. Alex P. Keaton would not have approved this ad. (talk about a right winger....)
3. He is over medicated and hyperkinetic. He did this on purpose. Parkinsons causes stiffness, racheting of joints, tremors, and broken/soft speech. This is not the effects of Parkinsons. A still, soft spoken MJF would not have had the same emotional response from viewers, but this wiggly one sure gets their attention.
4. Embryonic stem cell treatments are a bunch of bologna and have way too many problems to ever offer real hope. Adult and umbilical stem cells are the real thing--they are being used today.
5. This amendment is not only a stem cell issue--it entitles researchers to be able to create human clones for the sole purpose of research. They get goverment money to do it. They can pay women for eggs. No law or regulation can be made to restrict it. This is bad law, regardless of where you stand on the issue.
6. During WS game 4 tonight, a NO on 2 ad is going to air with several actors & athelets speaking out against cloning & ESC research.
