McKinney makes news again...no officers involved.
In case you haven't heard, Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney has been forced into a runoff campaign after she failed to capture more than 50% of the vote. The re-election was her first since her scuffle with a Capitol Hill police officer.
I've read the story about her scuffle, read the story about the election and I just wonder how many people are upset about the special treatment she has received with the entire "scuffle with a Capitol Hill police officer". Could this be what has lead to her overwhelming support dwindling down to an almost dead-even race with former Dekalb County Commissioner Hank Johnson?
Let's focus upon this, any normal person (no political or "celebrity" status) would have been thrown in jail lickity-split. For McKinney, not the case. The incident occured March 29th, yet a verdict was not reached until June 16th, 2006. Do the math, that's almost 3 months since the "scuffle". Can you say "unfair treatment for a member of Congress?" Like I said, any normal person would have already had their trial, would have been CHARGED for assault of an officer and would have some kind of misdemeanor crime.
Not so for McKinney and she proclaimed it was "Racial profiling" on the account of the officer. What the hell? That's one of the problems with Liberals and their way of thinking. I truly believe that Liberalism is a MENTAL DISORDER. It is always someone else's fault, never the fault of the individual. What I also love is the fact that Liberals did not refer to her as an Individual, but referred to her as a member of the African-American Minority of the U.S. What's the deal with relating all people as members of groups and not as individuals?

Cynthia McKinney is not only a disgrace to the people of Georgia, but to the entire USA and our Legislative brach. Now Cindy Sheehan has joined her cause. Like that's supposed to help? What is it with these Georgia Democrats?
I am tired of liberal celeb's & politicians (Jefferson, D-LA and the entire Kennedy family for instance)receiving preferential treatment for actual crimes, but conservatives (DeLay R-Tx, El Rushbo, etc.) getting slandered and attacked for doing nothing illegal. If Rush were a Hollywood lib, they would have celebrated his admission of addiction and thrown him a big rehab congrats party.

You are exactly right about Rush, there are many Liberal cooks who say what they want, do what they want and the media over looks it, case in point- Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi, Al Gore, Al Franken to name a few. Simple reason because the media is Liberal and they want to overlook what is really important and in return end up giving society the "news" (if it can be called that)that they want to be given.
However, Liberals not associated with the media are too ignorant to realize how much of a slant is really put on the info they are given. To me, Liberal news should be called "Caca" because it's all crap.
They want to jump on the "Right", make false accusations to demise the character of Conservatives. When they do this, it's about "How they feel" and what "they think", and honestly I do not care how they feel nor what they think.
I look forward to the Libs that will be responding to this blog, I'm curious whether or not they will support McKinney due to the fact many Democrats remained silent in regards to the McKinney incident.

I had my run-in with an unhinged liberal on the Booker Rising blog. I responded to his rather paranoid accusation that was simply misinterpreted but no apology in return. This person's fanatical hate is just dribbel to say the least.
A friend of mine who admitted to me he was a Marxist demanded that I "take it easy on the socialists, they're not all monsters you know". I say he deliberately living in an irresponsible dreamworld. Cynthia McKinney is a socialist and I believe she is a monster. Anyone who is known to have anti-Israel or anti-Semitic biases does not sit well with me. I pray for her defeat in the mid term elections in November by Catherine Davis. I actually wished her luck on my blog http://theviewofft.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_theviewofft_archive.html . She will surely need it.
I applaud McKinney for standing up to the Israel lobby, which continues to hold our foreign policy hostage.

As much as I agree with Diego and Cranky, I have to say that mentally deranged liberals are more frightening than "normal" liberals. You can often predict what a "normal" liberal will do, but people like Cynthia McKinney are unpredictable and tend to build a following just based on their nuttiness. Take a look at history and you'll see that I'm right (pun intended). Keeping that nutjob in office is tantamount to keeping Mussolini in office because it's fun to watch what the crazy people do.
As for the race card, it's played when it's convenient or when the player can't think on his/her own. "Waaaaaa...you're picking on me!" "Waaaaa...you're hurting my feelings!"
